Ootak Enaitri: ...a journey through North Karnataka

Ootak Enaitri is a coffee table book that is a compilation of simple home cooked food from the region of North Karnataka. The book is a compilation of recipes from the blog - https://girmitt.wordpress.com/, which was a place where the recipes sent by the author to her children were posted. The site has now become a community where folks from north Karnataka visit to get a quick recipe or read some of the homemade cures. Given that the site has almost 1.15 Million hits with lots of questions from the visitors, we decided to publish this as a coffee table book. The book also contains pictures, home made cures and some age old sayings that have been passed down over generations. Think of this as the barefoot contessa for people from North Karnataka!
